Down with newspapers, Up with electronic communication?

Why are some people opposed to getting rid of newpapers when there will be less trees being used, and the environment will benefit. Paradox is that the same people who want the newpapers to stay around are the same people who are anti-global warming. We all need to get our priorities straight and think about these things.
