My daughter?

its been 2 days now since my daughter went missing i have filed a missing persons report and they are doing the best they can,they have been round to all her friends houses and they said that they have seen her and so the police have said that she is fine but scared of coming home,shes only 14,shes never done this before at all and normally goes to school all the time,we have had a few arguments and we had one about 2 wk ago and she pushed me out of the way so i had to be very forceful and i eneded up hitting her across the face and i felt realy bad doing that i have never hit her ever,so she tex me and said shes not coming home because she thinks am gonna hit her,when she comes home i just dont know what to say to her,i just love her to bits but she is waling all over me and not respecting me i just dont know what to do or say to her plz help me out mums xxx
