How to wash canvas shoes?

My shoes are Nike sb dunks mid Dark Army (http://www.konasports.com/ProductImages/RMS-3/ME14383_DarkArmy-250.jpg) they are mostly made of suede, but the white part in the front and on the nike swoosh on the side is canvas material. The white canvas material got a large amount of dirt stains. I dont want to stick them in the washing machine because it will ruin the suede material, but i really do want to remove the stain on the canvas. What should i do?
