Has anyone used the new Washing Machine without an agitator?

Hi. Im looking for opinions on agitatorless top load washing machines vs an agitatored one. We ordered one from a home store last week and it will be here on the 21st of December. It was only after we ordered it that we noticed it didn't have an agitator, and learned the tub sort of rocks like a pendulum...?! We've read the reviews of purchasers that have left their thoughts... 5 on 1 site and 4 on another. They were split about 50% for and against. Looking for people that have bought or have used one of the new High Efficient ones. Our problem is quantified by the fact that we use well water with a heavy iron content, and usually add an amount of powered IRON OUT to the first wash cycle (which I understand may be a problem).
