Is bangkok safe at 2am???????????????

hi my girlfriend is traveling to Bangkok this november for her job. The plane arrives at 2am and that is the only plane for that day. She has to ride a taxi to bangkok but we heard many stories of bangkok being dangerous. Do you think she will be ok? Are there any safer ways for my girlfriend to get to her hotel?
