Question for Christians and Atheists?

Hypothetically speaking, if atheists decided to step aside and allow Christians to have full rein (allow prayer in school, connect church and state, teach creationism) and they could do whatever they thought god wanted them to and have no opposition whatsoever, what do you think the country (USA) would be like 10 years?
