Was Obama a Mistake ?

Really, I want to know if time were reversed and Hilary Clinton got the Nominee and ended up beating McCain to become the first "Female' President, would "People" be as upset and complaining, verse the current the current president Mr. Barack Obama..... (Seriously, the old way hasn't worked so it was time for something new, plus if McCain came in office and continued what President Bush was doing and the country was sent in to the Dark Abyss would "People" still be happy McCain was President?)
