Will snickerdoodles taste the same without vanilla extract and cream of tarter?

No they will not taste the same. They will taste like a sugar cookie with a tad of cinnamon and a little flat without the vanilla. But really, it's er and sugar baked into a cookie, it won't be a snickerdoodle but a cookie none the less.
